A talented steel worker that wanted to showcase his abilities, the task was to create a bold clean page that established credibility fast, as a certified, experienced manufacturer in a competitive B2B industry. The design had to communicate expertise & professionalism before a single word was read.
Process
Discovery
Start with discovery, I sat with the business owner and his partner and tried to find out all the important information that needed to live on the page. We also worked together to gather images, that accurately represent what he has done, and what he can do.
Wireframe
As soon as I had the basic understanding of what was going to be on the page – I designed the wireframe. Sometimes customers wonder “is this what my website will look like?”. And I tell them no, this is just the blueprint and a very important step to make sure that the information is being presented in a clear manner.

Design & Dev
Once the wireframe was approved, I decided to build it on Squarespace. In this situation I jumped straight to design on the platform since it needed to go live in a timely manner.
This customer also did not have branding, so the logo was something I quickly threw in as a bonus add in.
